Motorcycle Tours through Nicaragua: In 2006, Salvador Carlucci left California to explore Latin America on a BMW F650 GS Dakar. The purpose of the journey was to develop an understanding of the healthcare needs of the region.

The Latin America journey ended on August of 2007 after 12 straight months on the road, 35,000+ miles and 21 countries. Today Carlucci lives in Nicaragua, the second poorest country in Latin America. Here Carlucci is developing his ideas on how to increase healthcare access in third world countries with the use of motorcycles.
